Cheap all inclusive Spain
With the world’s economy apparently in peril is it still possible to find a cheap all inclusive Spain holiday? Well, prices in Spain, like the rest of Europe are higher than they were a few years ago, a beer could now cost you up to 5 Euros a go (obviously local brands can normally be found cheaper) and a slush puppy for your child can easily set you back over 2 euros! Add the cost of meals, maybe £20 a head for a relatively simple meal exluding wine and you can see why people are now looking to book cheap all inclusive holidays to Spain where you pay a little more up front, but you can at least guarantee that you’ll be fed and watered for a week whatever the cost in Spain.
All inclusive holidays are becoming more and more popular and are improving in quality as well as hotels operators realise that in these days of transparent internet holiday reviews they can’t get away with serving up poor quality food, drink and facilities any more.
What’s so good about a cheap all inclusive Spain holiday?
So, what does an a cheap all inclusive Spain holiday typically include? Well, the entry level is bronze all inclusive and this will normally include:
- Free locally produced beer, wine and spirits (and sometimes internationally produced drinks) – plus of course all soft drinks, slush puppies for the kids, bottled water etc. Some hotels provide wine, beer and often sangria “on tap” at mealtimes so there’s less queuing for drinks at mealtimes.
- Three meals a day – normally buffet style but many all inclusive resorts also offer one or more a la carte restraurants as well and you usually qualify for one free meal in these a week. (What this means in simple terms is that for one meal a week you get a “normal” waiter served meal in a themed restaurant including drinks – which is included in the cost of your all-inclusive holiday, You need to book the a la carte restaurant with your hotel reception). These are typically Italian, Thai or sometimes Spanish but check your booking carefully.
- Snacks during the day and evening
- Facilities such as kids club, swimming pools, sometimes a gym, sometimes a sauna (which usually charges extra), table tennis, tennis, football, crazy golf – there could be loads of different activities, depending on your particular hotel.
- Evening entertianment – though this is often run by the kids club reps so can be more “fun” than quality!
- Some all inclusive resorts provide better quality extras such as bath robes, beach towels, hair dryers, waiter service bars, room service, mini bars in your room – again – check with your particular hotel to see what you get.
All inclusive hotels in Spain, like any other hotel, operate a star rating so if you book at a five star all-inclusive you should expect a pretty good standard. A three star hotel will be more basic (but obviously cheaper). However, it might be fine for what you need.
For silver and gold all inclusive hotels, expect much better “luxury” but also expect to pay a LOT more for your holiday.
